As I am an Emergency Services Manager, I have been deployed on Wildfires for much of the summer, and continue to be on call for federal Disasters, for the remainder if the year !!
Therefore I am scheduling all open public classes (max of 4 seats) and all private 1 on 1 classes on an "as needed basis", in-between my deployments.

REFUND POLICY FOR ALL CLASSES:
Classes may be rescheduled up to two weeks prior to the scheduled class with out penalty.
If rescheduling within two weeks of the class a 50% fee may be applied if the vacancy is not filled by another student.
If the need to cancel class registration arises, a credit for a future class will be issued, with no expiration.
If rescheduling is not possible, 50% Refunds may be issued on a case by case basis, for Emergency situations only.
WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND;
That you ALWAYS register for a renewal class at least one month before the month that you Expire, so as to avoid any lapse of AHA - ACLS and BLS Certifications, due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances !!**
(If you schedule a class a month prior to your AHA Expiration date, and have to reschedule, if we are unable to reschedule you before your Expiration Date, with a reasonable effort on your part to reschedule, a full refund may be requested...)

I was needing to re-certify but the group classes and my work always conflicted. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’d previously taken group classes. I don’t know what you may call it, but I’ll call it a blessing. The one-to-one class gave me the opportunity to ask questions about ACLS meds and BLS procedures/techniques that I would never have asked in a group (I can be shy at times). That being said, Hugh has had so much experience on and off the field that he teaches by the book but with such heart that you retain what he is teaching because he helps connect the dots. I completed his ACLS & BLS courses in a two-student classroom setting. Hugh was professional and even delivered my course material to me ahead of time. Hugh impressed me with his unique background with years of knowledge in Emergency Services and paramedicine.
On the day of the class Hugh was punctual and prepared. He was able to provide many talking points on the information beyond just reading the power point and playing the films. Hugh’s hands on portions were well structured and helpful. If a student struggled with a procedure, he ensured that they did not leave without being able to perform it with confidence.

I would like to start by saying that I, like many other people wait until the very last minute to get current on things that I have to keep up to date on. That being said, my instructor EMS Chief Hugh Clark was very accommodating at working with me, around my crazy schedule, to get me into a private one on one American Heart Association ACLS and BLS recertification class quickly and easily.
After setting up a mutual time for me to attend his class, around my busy schedule, I showed up tired and dragging after coming in right after a long shift in a busy Emergency Department, and thinking gosh I hope I can just stay awake for yet one more ACLS class.
Well it was anything but just another ACLS class. It was awesome! He was so experienced, knowledgeable and up to date on everything. I could tell right away that Hugh wasn't just a teacher but a well-seasoned Emergency Services provider and Paramedic with tons of diverse hands-on experience in the field, and all over the world, He taught this PA a thing or two that I had never been taught before in my previous ACLS classes. He refreshed my previous knowledge, improved and showed me some new ACLS skills, and boosted my confidence as an ACLS provider.
I highly recommend this class at “ACLS and BLS of Northern Colorado,” and this excellent instructor, EMS Chief Hugh Clark!
